Throughout this project, I had to acquire new skills, such as formatting the boxes and researching online resources. The most challenging aspect was figuring out how to insert links into the website; each link took me at least five minutes to complete. I focused primarily on the design principle of unity, aiming to ensure that my entire webpage was cohesive and understandable for others. I found this project much more enjoyable than creating a PowerPoint presentation. I believe that updating a website to reflect the week's physical education activities would be an excellent way for parents to stay informed about what is happening in the classroom. As a PE teacher, I find it challenging to come up with ways to use QR codes, but my best idea so far is to use them for labeling items. I recall my PE teacher's room, which was often a mess when it came to storing equipment. While I am not known for being the most organized person, I am working on improving my organizational skills....

Blogging has been fun for me to do instead of discussion boards. This is an excellent way to make weekly paragraphs feel less like an assignment. I like blogging in this format, but I don’t think I would do it outside this class. In the process. I learned how much information is out there in blogs, meaning I had   I found a web 2.0 tool called Fun Brain, a website that teaches students things like math and history with fun online games. I remember playing this as a child and having a blast. This will be one of the tools I utilize to foster a fun learning environment. My initial thoughts on generative AI are very negative because I do not like what it brings for the future. I understand why people are excited about it. However, I find it very invasive personally. The one time I tried to use it, I didn’t find it super productive, and I do not trust it. I will not be using generative AI because I find it very bad to rely on it as a teacher. I will not judge other teachers who u...

The initial computer science standard I came across is SC.8.HS.3.1. In my interpretation, this standard emphasizes the importance of exercising caution when posting on social media, as it can have a significant impact on one's mental and physical well-being. I believe I am well-equipped to teach this concept as it addresses a crucial aspect of modern life that is often overlooked. By this stage, individuals may have already experienced negative interactions in online comment sections, making this standard particularly relevant.      I firmly believe that resources are essential in supporting teachers to enhance their skills. Teaching is a universally relevant profession, and the exchange and collaboration of ideas across different countries can greatly benefit educators. I value resources such as this one, which offers comprehensive lesson plans for various grade levels and subjects. These resources can be utilized to ensure that all essential elements...

I respect copyright and fair use by always purchasing educational materials created by other teachers. Despite educators' low pay, it's essential to compensate teachers who share their work, such as worksheets, online. As a future PE teacher, I anticipate fewer issues with this. As students age, there's a greater need for specific curriculum content, like CPR.      Technology poses issues such as cyberbullying, which is by far the worst. However, in this generation, students are born into a world with social media, so parents will play a significant role in teaching them about these issues because kids will experience them even before they start school. On the other hand, things like academic dishonesty are not as bad as they are often made out to be. Students use the resources they find to help them improve their grades, which can be a source of encouragement and motivation.      Mastering these skills, like crafting text boxes and selecting color b...
My experience with Microsoft Word started when I was a young child. Words never stopped being helpful, and we were taught how to use them as a class. This helped me learn how to write essays and format all writings before that. After 6th grade, however, everyone switched to either Office 365 or Google Docs, with Google Docs being my favorite.       The noteworthy aspect of this article is that the criteria for being a good teacher are quite modest. While this serves as a guide, the path to being a good teacher entails more than just a simple description of what is good and what is not. My favorite aspect is being a leader, someone that students look up to by leading through example. A teacher must implement lessons that incorporate technology to propel the next generation of students forward.      The term "digital native" makes sense to me because it acknowledges that younger children, as young as five, can navigate the web much more con...
